We are excited to introduce and welcome Megan Schreiber to our team of teachers here at Central Mass Dance Academy and Shea Management!
Megan is a teaching artist and actor who has been involved in theater since she was 10 years old. She holds a BFA in Acting from West Virginia University and an MFA in Theater Education and Applied Theater from Emerson College. She currently works as a theater teacher for Worcester Public Schools and has been teaching acting in community settings for the past 15 years.
We have the following classes to offer this season
Master the art of thinking on your feet with *Attacking the Cold Read*! This 10-week class is designed for actors looking to sharpen their ability to analyze scripts quickly, make strong choices, and bring scenes to life—without the luxury of extensive preparation. Each week, we’ll build essential skills, from understanding given circumstances and staying connected with scene partners to making bold physical choices and pacing your performance. As the course progresses, you’ll refine your ability to listen, react authentically, and approach auditions with confidence. The final weeks focus on work sessions and culminate in mock auditions, giving you real-world experience in making quick, compelling choices under pressure. Whether you’re new to acting or looking to strengthen your cold reading technique, this class will help you develop the tools to stay present, flexible, and fully engaged in the moment.
It begins – Saturday, September 6 11:15 AM to 12:45 PM and run every Saturday for 10 Weeks – 9/6,9/13, 9/20,9/ 27,10/18,10/25, 11/1,11/8,11/22,11/20 and 12/6–
Wednesday, September 10 5:45 PM to 7:15 PM and run every Wednesday for 10 weeks

Acting Fundamentals for the Aspiring Young Artist – Ages 8 to 13″ Wednesday*
This is an exciting 10 week course taught by Megan Schreiber, one of our acting coaches at CMDA/Shea Management! (see below for the description)
Acting Fundamentals for the Aspiring Young Artist is a dynamic and engaging class designed for kids ages 8-13 who are eager to explore the world of acting! Over 10 exciting weeks, students will build confidence, creativity, and performance skills through improv games, character work, and scene study. They’ll learn how to think on their feet, create compelling characters, and develop emotional depth using the Stanislavski method. From improvisation and storytelling to monologues and a final showcase, this class is perfect for young actors looking to take their skills to the next level in a fun and supportive environment!
Class begins – Wednesday, September 10 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM and runs every Wednesday for 10 Weeks. – OR –
